Dr. Pilitsis is a board-certified Neurosurgeon, clinician-scientist, and Chair of the Department of Neurosurgery. She leads an NIH-sponsored research program focused on device optimization for neuromodulation. Her research focuses on advancing the understanding and treatment of chronic pain and developing safer, more effective treatment strategies.
