Ali Bilgin, PhD, is an Associate Professor in the Departments of Biomedical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, and Medical Imaging at the University of Arizona. His research focuses on signal and image processing, data compression, image and video coding, and MRI. Dr. Bilgin has published over 175 research papers and holds ten patents, with several more pending. He has served in key editorial roles, including as an associate editor for IEEE journals, and remains active in organizing international conferences in his field.
Ying-Hui Chou focuses on the cognitive and clinical neuroscience of aging and mild cognitive impairment. Her research integrates brain imaging and transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) to develop image-guided therapeutic TMS protocols. Dr. Chou explores TMS-derived and image-based biomarkers for early diagnosis and to predict therapeutic outcomes in individuals with mild cognitive impairment and healthy older adults.
