Julia Fisher
Biostatistics

Julia Fisher is a biostatistician in the Statistics Consulting Laboratory and an assistant research professor in the BIO5 Institute. She has a PhD in linguistics and an MS in statistics. Her neuroimaging work has mainly utilized magnetic resonance imaging with her graduate work focused on investigating the neural correlates of phonetic processing in the brain. Current research interests include the development of models of the functional connectome that allow researchers to simultaneously investigate network structure and region-to-region connectivity and explore how these two levels of the functional connectome are related to covariates or differ depending on disease state.
